General Home Buying Process Timeline
1st Meeting
The first meeting will serve as a consultation, where:
- You get to ask as many questions as you would like.
- We will go over your wants & needs.
- We will get the chance to get to know each other.
Home Shopping
Once you get pre-approved for a mortgage, we will be begin shopping for your new home! Aside from setting up an automatic search we will also scan the market daily for new listings.
Make an Offer
One you find a home you love, we will sit down and:
- Analyze comparable listings together.
- You will decide the offer price & contingencies
- Write the offer up and send it.
Inspections & Appraisals
If the seller accepts your offer you will likely have a few days to do your home inspection & appraisal before the offer firms up if you included these contingencies in the offer.
Closing Day
The day you get the keys to your new home is finally here! After meeting with your lawyer & signing some documents the home transfer will be done & the house is yours!
Move In
